The Regional Industry IT Convergence Research Section(RITC) is responsible for planning and managing projects related to the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Research Center and proceeds strengthening the competitiveness of regional companies. In addition, we are developing smart farm technology to carry out the 4th revolution of agriculture in rural areas of Daegu metro city and Gyeongbuk Province.

In order to strengthen the technological competitiveness of small and mid-sized companies in Daegu metro city and Gyeongbuk Province, RITC proceeds to find on demand technology and analyze related technical performance on IT convergence technologies required by the industry, technology quality management, ICT-related technical guidance / advice and support for technical difficulties, and 4th human resource training program.

In relation to smart farm technology, RITC is developing field-specific smart farm practical technology based on IoT and AI technology such as intelligent weighting water irrigation technology, greenhouse customized smart farm solution technology and reliability guarantee technology to maximize production.

In order to lead the future agriculture, it is concentrating on implementation big data-based smart farm at domestic and oversea farm.
