Creative & Basic Technology Research Division is with the aim of providing future strategic technologies through creative research and original research. The fostering of these challenging technologies until they become a strategic technology is our mission.
This Division consists of Terahertz Research Section (develops terahertz waves based devices and application technologies), Cybrebrain Research Section (researching brain-inspired AI fundamental technologies based on brain-morphic simulation),, BrainLink Creative Research Section (engages in sensory neuroscience and brain-behavior correlation research), Low-Carbon Integration Technology Creative Research Section (develops low-power, eco-friendly new materials and processes for advanced semiconductors and displays), Tangible Interface Creative Research Section (researching three-dimensional morphing interface for tangible visuo-tactile interaction technology), Topological Insulator Creative Research Section (researching topological insulator-based quantum materials & devices and qubits), and Lone Spin Medical Imaging Creative Research Section (researching lone-spin-based medical imaging technology).
Our research aims to develop disruptive and challenging technologies for the next generation. But we also actively promoting research activities to provide technologies that can solve various industrial difficulties through new technologies produced during our journey.
