Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) has published “6G Insight vision and technologies v2.0”, which outlines the direction and core technologies of the upcoming 6G mobile communication era.

This white paper provides a comprehensive summary of the development roadmap for 6G technology, which is currently under development with the goal of commercialization by 2030. It is expected to serve as an important reference for industry, academia, and government both domestically and internationally in establishing 6G research and development (R&D) strategies.

The newly released revised edition (v2.0) is based on the first white paper published in 2020 and incorporates the IMT-2030 (6G) framework approved by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU-R) last year, as well as the latest global technology trends.
