Special Evolution of CCTV Technology, Making the World Safer
In June, the government permitted the use of network cameras for safety and crime prevention purposes. The network camera is a system that allows the storage and identification of videos in a ubiquitous manner through Internet networks. So far, access to these Closed-circuit Television (CCTV) images has been restricted to external entities, but rigorous authentication and authorization procedures are now in place, allowing the CCTV video system to be connected to the Internet. This Month’s Issue specifies the evolving roles of the CCTV system.
