Humanoid Robot System Research Department
The Humanoid Robot Systems Research Department aims to realize next-generation humanoid robots that can live and collaborate with humans.
To this end, we develop a robot foundation model that integrates perception, understanding, and action based on large-scale multimodal data, enabling robots to reason and act autonomously in diverse environments. We also study an autonomous learning pipeline that allows robots to continuously enhance their intelligence through real-world experiences, as well as a humanoid system architecture designed for stability and scalability.
In addition, we develop key technologies that enable humanoid robots to naturally communicate with people and provide emotional, cognitive, and daily life support in household settings. This includes task procedure generation for complex household tasks, user understanding based on visual information, and advanced social interaction capabilities.
