Knowledge-based Information Security & Safety Research Department
We, Knowledge-based Information Security & Safety Research Department, are developing information security technologies in three fields in order to guarantee the secure convergent & multiple service in ubiquitous society and create the global value in future world. Three fields in information security consist of 『IT Information Security Area』, 『Physical Security Area』, and 『IT Convergence Security Area』.
In these technologies, we provide proper development of advanced knowledge and afford social, cultural and economical basis of creation for new domestic profit models. Hereafter, we offer a technological foundation for early settlement of u-Korea and present productive environment for ubiquitous IT infrastructure. And we endeavor the development for seamless mobile security, IP Surveillance System(CCTV) security, Maritime Convergence Service security, and bio security services.
Future Plan
‘The technology development including ‘the area expansion of IT security technology’ and ‘the convergence of the IT security technology and physical security technology’ will be mainly driven forward. We will achieve the result from its research and development widely used for the improvement of the nation's competitiveness through not only protecting an individual privacy but also solving the diverse social issues including the national disaster·accident, crime prevention, and etc.
