  A Study of Cost Effective and Large Scale Global Internet Service Solution

This project is developing large scale Internet services based on multimedia, IPTV, UCC, media search etc. and large media service management, informations and computing resources building, distributed data processing and large scale distributed computing platform based on low cost and open software, and then provides global Internet service solution.

The Internet service solution, GLORY V3.0 commercialization product that scales 10,000 nodes and provides petabyte storage for single data center was developed, now, we are expending funtions for utilizing as the cloud computing

  A Study of SaaS Platform

ETRI is developing a low-cost high-efficiency SaaS platform for software services of small and medium enterprises. SaaS(Software as a Service) is a model of software deployment whereby a provider licenses an application to customers for use as a service on demand via Internet.

ETRI is targeting a SaaS platform with SaaS maturity model level 3 or higher. The SaaS application configuration environment supports integration of new applications and tenant-specific configuration of applications. The multi-tenant runtime engine provides services to multiple tenants with a single runtime image. The metadata management system provides tenant-aware access control and security to multi-tenant database. The SaaS platform framework provides a service layer and management tools. It is planned to provide a beta service in a selected application domain.

  A Study of Virtualization Technology

The development of a micro VMM (Virtual Machine Monitor) for mobile systems, which enables to run multiple OS's (RTOS + GPOS) without any modification at a same time.

  A Study of Computing Platform Technology for Data Explosion

The development of computing platform technology for data explosion which overcomes the restriction of memory size and the limit of disk IO performance by using the memory virtualization and which processes the explosively growing data with continuous and online.

  A Study of DaaS Computing Platform

The development of Cloud DaaS (Desktop as a Service) System and Terminal Technology, which enables to service remote HD application with IOV.
