Green Computing Research Department

Green computing technology means an human-centric environmental friendly low power computing technology. Green Computing Research Department performs researches on constructing green computing framework through the development of Realistic converged Media Service System Technology based SMMD, Home Network Middleware technology, SAN(Ship Area Network) technology, technology of the energy management platform for Green Home, EMM technology for energy efficient building, Green Convergence Wireless System Technologies and LED visible communication technology. Keeping pace with the new national strategy for low carbon green growth, we are trying to lead the technologies for achieving the government goal for reducing about 6 trillion won in IT field power consumption until 2015.
